Forests have so much to offer

Each year, Finland’s forest carbon sinks absorb an amount of carbon dioxide equivalent to approximately half of Finland’s greenhouse gas emissions. The growth of Finland’s forests sequesters more carbon than is released through forest use and natural losses.

IKON – an innovation that revolutionizes small-scale wood burning

We developed and patented the IKON secondary air cassette, which enables heat-retaining fireplaces to achieve emissions well below the emission requirements and limits of the Ecodesign Directive.

Certificates

The energy efficiency of heat-retaining fireplaces meeting the requirements of the Ecodesign Directive must be at least 65%.
